Description of Artifact: This artifact is a reflection of a parent teacher conference where the parent specifically speaks on the positives and challenges of being an ESL student and other particular family related issues that may impact the child’s learning.
Rationale: I think this artifact demonstrates my ability to meet this standard because it reflects my understanding of how family dynamics, cultural norms and how speaking English as a second language are important components of helping a student to meet his or her goals.
