Description of Artifact:This is the social and emotional regulation chart that is used to help students work through challenging emotions to help improve their overall well-being and academic achievement. One of my colleagues shared this highly effective chart that is used for behavior management and emotional regulation. When using the chart with the zones of regulation, students learn how to respond more independently and respond more effectively to their emotions.

Rationale: I chose this artifact because there is current research demonstrating the effectiveness of using the zones of emotional regulation. This artifact has had particularly positive long term observable results for my students and managing their own emotions.
